Holiday Gift Idea: For the Boys

I read in Newsweek that men like receiving "beauty" products from their special someones for the holidays. I asked my husband, and he said he always likes when I buy him special toiletries. Since (at least some) men like receiving products, here are a few to help spiffy him up:

To keep his skin looking great:
  • Origin's Man's Best Friend Set, $30. This 3-piece set comes in a fancy schmancy gift box and includes Checks and Balances, a frothy face wash, Blade Runner, an "energizing" shave cream, and Skin Diver Active Charcoal body wash. All products are specially designed for a man's skin.
To protect him from nasty shaving irritants:
  • Anthony Logistics Perfect Shave Kit, $50. This kit contains everything a man could need to get a great shave--well, everything except the razor! He'll get: glycolic facial cleanser, pre-shave oil, shave cream and an after shave all in a handy mesh kit. You'll get: a smooth, soft, kissable face to smooch under the mistletoe.
If he's an old-school kind of guy:
  • 3-Piece Chrome Shave Set with Shaving Cream, $59. This attractive shaving set includes a chrome stand, twin-blade chrome razor, and a genuine badger bristle brush with chrome handle. It may just make him more excited about shaving his face.
If he's really into the whole "beauty" product thing:
  • Jean Paul Gautier has a number of products that might be worth a look. Among the more femme products for men, Gautier offers men's lip stains, bronzers, concealers, and nail polish duos. I'm not sure if many men would admit to using or enjoying these products, but they are worth a look.
Take care of your man this holiday season. If you think about it, nothing says "I love you" like pampering someone. Us gals like it, and what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
