Beauty Product of the Week: Great Lash

What is it? According to their website, “Maybelline’s pink and green legend is America’s #1 mascara.” Great Lash is the grandmother of mascaras—it’s been around for a million years in its familiar packaging. Great Lash comes in a number of varieties, including clear, blackest black, curved brush and waterproof, to name a few, and is available everywhere.

What do you think? I’ve used Great Lash for years—I swear by this product. I have healthy, long-ish lashes, and Great Lash (coupled with a squeeze or two from my eyelash curler, of course!) provides my lashes with a nice curl without clumping up. I’ve never had gooped up “spider” lashes with this product. The tube stays relatively gunk-free and I have never experienced any major application problems with Great Lash. I’ve tried more expensive brands and products that are supposed to do amazing things to your lashes. So far, I have not found anything that can even compete with Great Lash. Sure it’s not the sexiest product on the market, but it is reliable and economical. Plus, the pink and green tube is easy to find in my overfilled make-up case.

The final verdict:
Great Lash is #1 for a reason: it works. It’s dependable and inexpensive and is a must-have. I can’t imagine using another product!
